Berwick Youth Soccer Association was incorporated as a Non-Profit Organization in the state of Maine on July 5, 1988. Since that time, the organization has been run solely by Volunteers.
The philosophy of the Berwick Youth Soccer Association is aimed at keeping the best interests of our youth as the priority:
To provide a safe and motivating environment for recreation, fun, exercise and family participation - as coaches, referees, volunteers, parents and spectators.
To develop and improve basic soccer skills of our players; instill a strong and positive sense of teamwork and sportsmanship; and promote the enjoyment and appreciation of the game of soccer.
To keep in mind that the overall success of the total program is more important than any one individual's or team's success.
General Season Information:
Our season runs from late August until late October/early November. Practices are one night a week, and games for all divisions take place on Saturdays. Practices begin usually the last week of August. Teams are formed and parents will be notified in August before practices begin.
The policies that govern our season are available on our Policies page.
